Moalboal is a small town located in the south west side of Cebu, Philippines. You might think there is not much in Moalboal for it is not a common place for some locals to talk about but actually there is much more in there. Moalboal serve beautiful resorts, bars, and beaches with soft white sands. This place is popularly known for its diving accommodation like snorkeling and free diving that features its coastlines’ multiple reefs and many natural wonders. Moalboal is proud to feature one of the best places in their town, White Beach or what the locals called as “basdako” (Big Sand). White beach is aesthetically pleasing in the eyes that features crystal shades of blue, meeting the purest and powdery white sands of Moalboal. But first, let me tell you how to get there from Cebu. Just go to Cebu South Bus Terminal (CSBT) and take the bus. If you want a cheaper bus fare, the “no aircon” one, your fare would be 125 Php. But if you want the cooler one with aircon, ride the ceres bus liner (yellow buses) and also offers free wifi; your bus fare would be 150 Php. It will be a 3-Hour drive depending on the traffic. The bus will drop you off in Moalboal Town which is 9km from White Beach. The easy way is riding a tricycle, your fare would be 200 Php. But if you have a small luggage amd can manage to ride a motorcycle, then jist choose riding it, we locals call it “habal habal” and its fare is only 50 Php. Now, you’ve arrived in this beautiful paradise of Cebu, Philippines.
